Chance

I don't know what I am saying anymore. I mean it's been a long time since I made poems and they are all on the spot.

It's hard to care when they don't care at all

It's hard to stand up when you're feeling so small

But the courage within is greater than you know

You just needed time for it to show

You took the chance and let them know

Everything that you wanted to say

You stood your ground and spoke your mind

They saw the girl no longer hiding


There are still challenges ahead
Take a chance and take the path those least tread
